OVERVIEW
English is one of the easiest languages as far as grammar is concerned. The difficulty comes with the English pronunciation: words that are spelled similarly but have a completely different pronunciation based on some written and unwritten rules. For many foreigners, once they master the language grammatically and have acquired a vast vocabulary, they find that their pronunciation and accent still needs improvement. At Pasadena Language Center, we offer private Accent Reduction and Pronunciation classes. |

We are using the two audio and visual materials that have proved to show significant results in students’ accent and pronunciation: The Sound and Style of American English (3rd edition) and Breaking the Accent Barrier by Dr. David Alan Stern.
