Kids and Teens weekend classes

Pasadena Language Center offers weekend language classes for kids. Languages offered: American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Upon request and subject to availability, we can open classes for other languages as well. The program is 8 weeks long and classes meet once a week, on Saturday or Sunday mornings from 9:00am to 11:00am and from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Classes are offered for children aged between 4 and 12 years old, and teens between 13 and 16 years old. The groups are small with a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 5 students.

Our method
We believe that the best way for a child to learn a second language is through imitation and repetition. The purpose of the program is to introduce the new language as if it were the native language. Therefore, classes are fully conducted in the target language. Learning a new language should be a fun experience. That is why we created a curriculum that engages children through music, movements, drawing, role play, and story time. The focus is on conversation, and for Arabic and Chinese we introduce some character writing.
All our instructors are native speakers and have a large experience in teaching children. They will guide and support the children in the learning process, making sure that they have the best experience.
